Clinical Medicine(MBBS in English)
Program Description
Yangzhou University is recognized by WHO and the graduates of MBBS program are eligible to take the Medical Licensing Examinations held by the medical councils in different countries such as MCI, PMDC, USMLE, HPCSA, SCHS etc.
Teaching Objective
To train medical specialists who should have the theories of basic medical and clinical medicine and have the basic skills engaging in medical treatment, prevention or medicine research.

Internship
The international students will do the internship in the affiliated hospitals of the university. Before the internship, students are required to reache HSK 3. Medical College of Yangzhou University has 5 affiliated hospitals.
Degree Awarded
On completing the requirements of the teaching program and passing the graduation examinations successfully, international medical undergraduates will be granted a graduation certificate and conferred a medical degree by the university, if they meet the degree regulations of the university. The English copy of the degree will state MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery). The medical degree can be recognized by MCI, MMC, NMC, WHO, USMEL, MCC.
Career
After obtaining MBBS Degree, the graduates can apply to take the medical licensing examination in the medical council in order to get registered and practice medicine. According to the regulations in different countries, the students may need to do the degree accreditation first. A MBBS degree holder can find jobs in government as well as private hospitals, nursing homes and other health facilities. Except this, one can also start his own clinic or pursue study for master's degree.
Campus
The apartment building for international students is located in Wen-Hui Road Campus of Yangzhou University, the largest and the most colorful of the 8 campuses of YZU. This campus is also the most valuable campus of YZU because of the national and provincial key laboratories in it. The beauty of this campus starts with two lines of well-pollard and preserved phoenix trees at the entrance path. And you can find almost 80% of Chinese plant and grass species on this campus.
Room Rate
The rooms are hotel-like with shower, cable TV and Internet access. You can apply for single room or double room or triple room on either south or north.

Bedding is excluded from room service but available by paying at the front desk, which includes 2 quilts, 2 quilt covers, 1 sheet, 1 mattress, 1 pillow and 1 pillowcase. The cost is 345 Yuan.
- Room rate during vacation
5% of total will be charged extra as vacation service fee in addition to regular room rate.

Laundry: Self-helping laundry is available on each floor.
Public Kitchen: Public kitchen is available on each floor at certain open hours and there are two refrigerators on each floor for temporary storage.
Kitchen on the 4th floor is for Muslim Only.
