Hebei North University, formerly known as Hebei Medical College, was found in 2003 under provincial administrator.It is a multi-faculty university approved by Ministry of Education and recognized by WHO, UNESCO, CSC and CMC.
The university possesses a strong teaching force and numerous superior academic areas. The graduates are appreciated by their employers all the time and the schools quality has been approved by society. Up to now, the employment rate for medical undergraduates occupies high rank among other universities, while the employment rate of medical laboratory technician undergraduates is 100% and the supply of all agronomy undergraduates falls short on demand.

  Mbbs Program Introduction The MBBS program is run on a six-year duration. This comes with the first 5 years that entails a total of 10 semesters with the last twelve months being the internship year that is compulsory for all students. There is an early introduction to pre-clinical topics which provides the basis for medical studies in the subsequent years. In the two years students have to grasp the necessary knowledge that is applied during clinical training. Success in medicine requires application and hard work, both while studying and when in practice. However it brings great rewards in terms of job satisfaction, involving a combination of science and human interactions. Main Courses

1. Public courses: Chinese (intensive reading, listening and oral Chinese), brief introduction of China, healthy education.
2. Basic specialized courses: System Anatomy, Histology and Embryology, Physiology, Biochemistry,Cell Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Pathology, Path physiology, Medical Genetics, Nutrition,

Pharmacology, Social Medicine, Preventive Medicine, Local Anatomy, Health Statistics, Parasitological,Traditional Chinese Medicine.

3. Specialized courses: Diagnostics, Medical Imaging, Forensic Medicine, Clinical Immunology, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Clinical Anesthesiology, Epidemiology, Ophthalmology, Oral Sciences, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Neurology, Infectious Diseases, Skin Epidemiology, Otolaryngology, Obstetrics and Gynecology.
4. Practice: fundamental medicine basic skills experiments, clinical fundamental skills practice, clinical practice.

Internship The total duration of internship is 48 weeks basis. During intership, the concerned departments will lay emphasis on the practical experience of the student.  

Live On Campus Introduction This form of accommodation ranges from two student in a room to four students in a room. Both types have shared bathrooms and common areas such lounge and living area. All rooms are fully furnished and up to international standards containing pillows, clean mattresses, bed spread, study desk for each student, central heater, 24/7 supply of cold and hot water and medically approved lights for both studies and relaxation. HBNU attaches a high level of security of its students, there are effective measures in place to ensure the safety of every student. Room Price Two-person room: 7600 RMB/person/year Four-person room: 3800 RMB?person/year Live Off Campus Introduction Some international students prefer to live in accommodation owned by private landlords that are close to HBNU. There are real estate agencies and other agencies that can help students find accommodation easily. Accommodations are also advertised on popular Chinese websites. Room Price The cost of living off campus is much higher than on campus. The room prices depend on if you choose furnished accommodation or unfurnished accommodation. There are other expenses such as gas, electricity, telephone, Internet, management and security fee. Most students live with one or two other students to share the cost.
