Beijing Union University, established in 1985 by ratification of Ministry of Education, is a comprehensive higher education institution at municipal administrative level. Its predecessor are branches founded in 1978 from more than 30 key universities in Beijing, including Peking University and Tsinghua University.

Beijing Union University International Student Residence is reserved for long-term and short-term international students studying at School of International Education of BUU. Two buildings are available for international students: Building C and Building D. There are 107 Standard Rooms with 208 beds. All rooms are designed and furnished at the standard of 3 or 4 star hotel. Besides, we also provide favorable price and high-standard service to our students. All rooms are equipped with air conditioner、television、telephone and private bathroom so as to provide reasonable comfort for the occupants and facilitate tidiness.
Building C and Building D
Introductions Standard Room: air conditioner, television, telephone and private bathroom All rooms are designed and furnished at the
standard of 3 or 4 star hotel. Hostel reservations about accepting applications for a specific time please contact directly with Beijing Union University.
Application
Applicants who plan to live in International Students’ Residence should make reservation in advance by filling in International Students Residence Form.
According to the requirements of different schools, the application materials will be slightly different, and the specific information is subject to the consultant office
Non Degree Course & Bachelor Degree
1. Photocopy of valid passport
With photo, passport number &expiration date and name included.
2. Passport-sized photo
A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant.
3. Graduation certificate of high school
Graduation certificate should be in Chinese or English.If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.
4. Academic transcript of high school
5. English proficiency test certificate
For example, IELTS or TOEFL, only for applicant whose native language is not English.
Master Degree
1.A passport-sized photo

3.Copy of your bachelor degree transcript (Notarized English translation if applicable )

Doctoral Degree

Photocopy of physical examination record.
6. Two recommendation letters(optional)
From professor,associate professor or equivalents.
7. Certificate of English proficiency test
IELTS or TOEFl will only be required if the applicant is not a native English speaker.
8. Financial guarantee letter
Photocopy of the signatured financial guarantee letter from his/her financial guarantor to prove their solvency.
